Brownies

Nope, not the kind you eat either.  Today was a parent meeting for the Brownie troop next year at our house.  First of all, Jeff who handled our 20 + boys as Tiger Scouts laughed at me because he still has the memory of trying to corral our little guys.  All in all it went pretty well today though.  We had about 10 little girls running around with absolutely perfect weather, it is still beautiful outside and three older boys helping us keep them outside.  

McKayla had such a great time and I am so excited to lead  her group next year.  This group of girls are really fun and get along really well.  My co-leader Jill is awesome and we have become fast friends.  It's about time!  Next weekend we are having her husband, daughter and son over for some BBQ and NASCAR for the holiday. 

We are slowly getting the hang of this new place.  It has taken a year to get adjusted and make some friends.  Now that spring is here it is beautiful again.  I forgot how awesome the weather is here when the sun is shinning and there is no snow on the ground.
